Stiftung Warentest: These Frozen Pizzas Taste Best
German consumer protection group Stiftung Warentest has tested 14 frozen pizzas and found that the best-tasting pizzas are from Dr. Oetker and Wagner.
The test was conducted by a panel of 10 experts who judged the pizzas on taste, appearance, texture, and overall quality. The Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Prosciutto and the Wagner Steinofen Pizza Salami Piccante were the top-rated pizzas, both receiving a score of 8.0 out of 10.
The Stiftung Warentest test results are based on a sensory evaluation of the pizzas. The experts considered the taste, appearance, texture, and overall quality of the pizzas. The pizzas were also tested for their nutritional value, but this was not a factor in the overall score.
The Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Prosciutto is a thin-crust pizza with a crispy base and a flavorful topping of ham, cheese, and mushrooms. The Wagner Steinofen Pizza Salami Piccante is a thicker-crust pizza with a chewy base and a spicy topping of salami, cheese, and peppers.
